Our season rod fishing is based on the The Avington Estate Fishery, which extends to some six miles of double and single bank fishing on the “middle Kennet” and tributaries.
A predominantly game fishery, there is a great variety of fishing to suit all levels of experience throughout the season including what is most often a spectacular mayfly hatch.
The season at Avington runs from the 1st April through to the 30th September.
Rods are let on a season basis giving access to all beats across the Avington and Denford Fisheries
Full Rod: Fishing any day of the week between Tuesday and Sunday Inclusive
Weekday Rod: Tuesday to Friday inclusive
Weekend Rod: Friday PM to Sunday inclusive
From time to time, rods become available to fish at Avington. The club seeks to be fully inclusive and welcoming to all members, including younger anglers
